End of an era – ActewAGL House moves to Bunda Street
Tomorrow (Tuesday 29 June), the last of ActewAGL’s employees will move to the organisation’s new corporate headquarters on Bunda Street, marking an important milestone in the history of the organisation.

Free enviro pack giveaways
To mark World Environment Day, ActewAGL will give away 1,000 free enviro packs and host a barbecue from midday to 2.00pm tomorrow (Friday 4 June) at its store on City Walk, Civic.

Michael’s bikes are going to Africa
The business community have come to the rescue and helped Michael Skene, a local Canberra high school student, ship over 200 second-hand bikes to Africa.

Canberrans reduce electricity use for Earth Hour
During last night’s Earth Hour Canberra’s electricity use was 283,356 kWhs, which is 16,689 kWhs less than what ActewAGL predicted the usual electricity usage between 8.30 and 9.30pm on Saturday 27 March would have been in the absence of Earth Hour.

Damage to ActewAGL electrical and gas infrastructure
ActewAGL is encouraging Canberra residents to report damaged electrical and gas infrastructure. Damage to poles, wires, meters, substations and mini pillars create a risk to public safety and can disrupt the electricity and gas supply.
