Free enviro pack giveaways

To mark World Environment Day, ActewAGL will give away 1,000 free enviro packs and host a barbecue from midday to 2.00pm tomorrow (Friday 4 June) at its store on City Walk, Civic. All gold coin donations from the barbecue will go to the Conservation Council.

ActewAGL General Manager Retail Ayesha Razzaq said, “The 1,000 free enviro packs consists of a compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulb, a room thermometer, an ice scraper and an enviro bag, which are items that can help reduce our impact on the environment.

“The free enviro packs are just one way that ActewAGL is encouraging our customers to help reduce their environmental footprint. In addition to providing water- and energy-saving tips on our website, we also offer our green energy program, Greenchoice.”

The enviro packs will also be available all day Friday from ActewAGL stores in Westfield, Woden and The Marketplace, Gungahlin.
